This is an arrangement I did of Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl that was an assignment for a class of mine at UCLA. The assignment was to do an arrangement of this song as the music for a Bell Atlantic Commercial. I decided to use a banjo and body percussion. Every note I play on the banjo is taken from an instrument line in the master recording of the song. Every clap, snap, slap, and stomp I do is part of the drums or percussion from that recording as well. I just replaced the snare with a snap, the bass drum with a stomp, and so on.
